ENTR Real Estate
For our Server Side Web course, Andres Zambrano and I took on the challenge of conceptualizing a fictional real estate company, leading to the creation of "ENTR Real Estate," a comprehensive ASP.NET Core MVC web application. Our project aimed to develop a platform that could adeptly manage various entities integral to the real estate business, including customers, agents, listings, and showings, among others. By employing ASP.NET Core MVC, we established a robust framework for our app, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
The backbone of ENTR Real Estate's data handling capabilities is the Entity Framework Core coupled with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. This combination allowed us to create a fluid and dynamic data model that could easily adapt to the complexities of real estate management, from customer interactions to the intricacies of property listings.
This project was an exercise in applying the Rational Unified Process methodology, guiding us through the development stages with a focus on iterative progress, risk management, and high-quality output. Building ENTR Real Estate not only honed our technical skills in using cutting-edge .NET technologies but also provided valuable insights into project management and application design tailored to the specific needs of a real estate company. It was a rewarding experience that combined theory with practical application, culminating in a versatile web application that exemplifies the potential of modern web development practices in the real estate industry.
